Camurrìa Orange Natural wine Grillo | Di Giovanna

Discover Camurrìa Orange: a natural skin-contact Grillo, unfiltered. The complexity of Sicilian terroir in an organic orange wine.

Camurrìa Orange is a bold and authentic interpretation of Grillo, the flagship white grape of Western Sicily. Grown on the high-altitude hills of the Paradiso estate in Contessa Entellina, this natural wine is born from the meeting of the Sicilian sun, constant winds, and a zero-compromise production philosophy.

The organic grapes, hand-harvested in early September, undergo spontaneous fermentation with a 6-day skin maceration. This extended skin contact extracts not only its distinctive amber hue but also an extraordinary structure and aromatic complexity.

After aging for 9 months in stainless steel on fine lees, Camurrìa Orange is bottled unfiltered. The result is a "living" wine, wholesome and deep, releasing intense notes and a mineral sapidity typical of high-altitude vineyards, while perfectly preserving the purity of the original fruit.

Food Pairings

Ethnic & Spicy Cuisine

Sublime with vegetable curries, Maghreb cuisine (couscous), and sweet-and-sour Asian dishes. Its structure holds up perfectly against intense spices.

Complex Earthy Dishes

Pairs beautifully with sweet-and-sour rabbit, herb-roasted guinea fowl, and dishes featuring porcini mushrooms or roasted pumpkin.

Structured Fish

Ideal with spicy fish stews, Sicilian-style salt cod (with olives and capers), or smoked salmon, thanks to its distinct sapidity and body.

Gourmet Vegan Cuisine

A must-try with grilled tempeh, roasted cauliflower, and legume-based dishes that echo the earthy and mineral notes of macerated Grillo.

Blue Cheeses

Perfect with spicy Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or aged Pecorino. The contrast between the cheese's richness and the wine's freshness is extraordinary.
